I (Andrew Marjoribanks) would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the people who sent cards and letters to me recently, regarding my dear friend David's death. Thank you also to the following people, who were a tremendous support to me during his illness: Paula, Beryl, Lynne and Canon Tony. Also, of great comfort to me were the Northumberland Home HospiceCare team, the Macmillan Nurse, Dr. S Moss and the surgery team.

My sincere thanks to Canon Tony Macpherson, Reverends Jane and Paul Scott for conducting a very meaningful and comforting service at David's funeral at St Paul's Church on Friday 29th September. My thanks also to Alan D Haile, funeral director and his team for a first class service.
